Workshop on: "Guidelines on Manuscript Formatting and Writing in Accordance with the STI Focus Magazine for the Special Issue on Food Processing and Shelf-Life Extension"
The Editor Team of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) organized this online workshop on 15 July 2026 , presided over by H.E. Dr. Keo Sokcheat , Director General of NISTI and Editor-in-Chief of the STI Focus Magazine. The workshop was attended by researchers, lecturers, students, and other interested participants. The workshop aimed to provide prospective authors with practical guidance on manuscript preparation, publication requirements, reference citation, research ethics, and the peer-review process. It was designed to help participants prepare high-quality manuscripts that comply with the editorial standards and publication requirements of the STI Focus Magazine. Through this initiative, NISTI reaffirms its commitment to promote and disseminate the research achievements of researchers, making them more widely accessible, easier for the public to understand, and applicable for practical benefits, contributing to sustainable social and economic development.

Regional Workshop “Enhancing Digital Adoption in Agriculture and Agribusiness MSMEs”
Hanoi, From July 7 to 8, 2026 — A technical official from the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) under the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI) participated in the Mid-Project Regional Workshop៖ “Enhancing Digital Adoption in Agriculture and Agribusiness MSMEs”, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Lao PDR, with support from the Australia for ASEAN Futures (Aus4ASEAN Futures) through the Initiative for ASEAN Integration (IAI) Work Plan V (2026–2030). The workshop brought together representatives from Cambodia, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Viet Nam, and Timor-Leste (CLMV-TL) to review, validate, and refine the findings of the Comprehensive Assessment. Participants also discussed strategic plans and policy recommendations aimed at accelerating digital adoption in the agriculture and agribusiness sectors, with a particular focus on supporting Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Discussions emphasized ensuring that proposed interventions are relevant, prioritized, and feasible within the national context of each participating country. The outcomes and inputs generated during the workshop will be consolidated into a preliminary regional document for further consultation and collective endorsement. Phnom Penh | 6–8 July 2026 - Three engineering students in Food Science and Technology and one technician student in Food Processing and Analysis from the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC) successfully defended their graduation theses on Predictive Modeling of Tomato Ketchup Shelf-Life Using Accelerated Shelf Life Testing (ASLT) under the INACON Project (2025–2026) , which is supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA). The research project was implemented through the collaboration between the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) and the Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC).
