
Providing Science, Technology and Innovation knowledge for MSMEs Development in Cambodia
On 19th May 2026, the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI), in collaboration with the General Department of Small & Medium Enterprises and Handicraft, CamTech University, and Kenan Foundation Asia, organized a training program on “The Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to Support Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)” at the Ministry of Industry Science, Technology & Innovation (MISTI), with the participation of 120 representatives from enterprises and relevant institutions.
The training was presided over by H.E. Dr. Keo Socheat, Director General of the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) and representatives from ASEAN Foundation and Kenan Foundation Asia with the aim to enhance digital capacity and promote the adoption of AI among MSMEs in Cambodia, in order to strengthen resilience, improve operational efficiency, and increase competitiveness in the digital economy.
This training program marks a significant milestone in supporting local enterprises to respond to global technology trends and leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to modernize their businesses.
