Strengthening Collaboration to Advance the STI Sector in Cambodia

On May 15, 2026, the National Institute of Science, Technology and Innovation (NISTI) held a discussion meeting with Oxfam, Banteay Srei Organization, and the Independent Democracy of Informal Economy Association (IDEA).

The discussion focused on exchanging information and experiences, as well as identifying the practical needs between government institutions and partner organizations. This serves as a foundation for developing joint work plans and exploring opportunities to integrate Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) knowledge and technologies to support workers in the informal economy sector.

The meeting reflects the collaboration between the Royal Government and civil society organizations in leveraging Science, Technology, and Innovation (STI) to empower informal economy workers, with the aim of reducing the digital divide and promoting inclusive development in Cambodia.
